One fine weekend during our stay at the state,
we decided to have a trip to Chicago, 2 days 1 night.
Chicago consider not too far from Indianapolis, it's a 3 hours ride by car.
Asked my friend, Nicholas who now still working at Chicago to help me find a place to stay.
So at that early morning, we started our journey :D
definitely enjoy the drive! the scene is nice(even though keep repeating...), road is straight, and sky is so blue :D
GPS is a must since we not familiar with that place =/
We reached the motel that my friend suggested.
So picture below showing me re-route to my friend place to meet him...
after like at least 5 years din met him dy
He living in a nice neighborhood, peace and quiet
Went into his room and he show us where we should go to save some time.
Then he drop us to the nearest train station.
We not driving inside as we not familiar the road, and the parking fee inside the town is effing expensive.
They even have graffiti painting on train =..=
and to our surprise, the train is double deck.
We picked the upper deck :p
Reached the town center
Welcome to Chicago :D
A lot of skyscraper
Sears Tower - was once the tallest building on Earth
The "Bean" in Millennium Park
Free Hug!
And I actually did get one :D
Need I say more? :P
Our late lunch
After Lunch we walked to Navy Pier
The scene here is awesome, with breezy cool air.
Even though is Summer but it's not humid.
Now I know why those people there like summer that much.
After Navy Pier, we took a boat ride back to place that near to train station.
And there where Sears Tower is too.
So we went all up to Sears Tower :D
I was really amaze. The city scene was magnificent
We waited for the sunset :)
Not sure what words I should put up to describe how I feel at that moment
And the picture below is the picture I put as my laptop wallpaper, and the header of this blog too :)
It just brilliant!
Went back to my friend place to get our car and head back to our motel.
The next morning, He bring us to have this breakfast at Ihop
Nicholas, tuition mate.
even though different school, but we having same tuition class for few subjects
Then we head to warehouse mall again :D
No pic at that place.
After all those shopping, we already used up half day.
And is time to depart from Chicago.
We had dinner at this Chinese restaurant near my friend place.
Then head back to Indianapolis after that
Resting a while on the half way of the long journey back.
Sorry that nothing much I can write...
I already forget what time and what building are those...
It's already been a year... and I really hope I can head back there again :(
and this post end here.
Will have more about life and Indianapolis later on
And not forget the NYC trip that I missed that much too =/
